Our olives trees are more than 40 years old and have always been managed as a traditional low intensity crop.

Our olive trees are located mainly in two fields within the estate: La Terrazza, which has only 90 trees, is so called because it serves as a garden to the guest house; and L’Oliveta, a field with a significant slope located between the two vineyards. All varieties of olive trees planted are typically Tuscan: Frantoio, Moraiolo, Pendolino and Leccino.

The management of olive trees and organic farming mainly involves manual work, from pruning to harvesting, which is also completed, with love, by the owners. The spontaneous grassing of the fields ensures that the soil, rich in clay and stones very typical in Chianti, has a natural balance that enriches both the trees and the fruits.

The Villa

Emerging from an infinite green, where woods are entwined with vineyards, the Tuscan sun shines in a bright blue of a sky that at night lights up with stars; our Villa offers its guests a magical space where the historical character of Tuscan architecture meet contemporary comfort. Here, time seems to stop to allow you to breathe, explore nature and relax.

Located just 30 min away from Siena and 60 minutes from spectacular Florence, Ferrale offers a perfect countryside location, a heaven of tranquility, to slow down and embrace nature and leisure in Tuscany.

It can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests and consist in: five exquisite double rooms with private bathrooms, individually designed and decorated; fully equipped kitchens and convivial living rooms from where an easy access leads to a secret framed garden by an olive grove.

Our spaces are private and exclusive, with an authentic and personal atmosphere that combines antique furniture and contemporary style, decorating pieces made by local artisans, and furnishings of the utmost comfort.
